The Cambridge based Americana trio plays original pieces written by vocalist Gillian Grogan that range from bluesy introspections to contemporary tributes to the traditional folk ballads of the British Isles. Otto Briner draws eastern rhythms from the depths of his upright bass, while Chris Chronopoulos's banjo dances lyrically over Grogan's charged finger picking. These three make music where Americana meets folk and thrives in soul. The band released their first EP "Redbird" last April.

Otto plays in a few other local bands, perhaps most notably Atlas Lab and Scubaphone. Chris has played in a number of other bands as well and currently fronts the bluegrass band called Gumtree. Gillian continues to write and perform solo as well, touring regionally and nationally in and out of the ever famous minivan named Ella. Where the two of them will go next, no one knows for sure...Her next full length album is due sometime late in 2018 and other prior projects live here.
